Web Update

Web updating can be addictive. I just added the White Scarf project that I did for Marcellus.

I think that I had never uploaded it since it is not a reproduction of a period artifact. It is, however, pretty cool, and.

So here it is.

And that's it. I'm going to bed.

Can I use your research on muffs?
I am looking at entering a muff (not exactly period, but not too bad) in the A&S Display/Competition at Rencester's Celebration of Exploration.

I was wondering if I could quote your research on muffs as the bulk of my documentation?

If you say no, I will understand, but I'm hoping you'll say yes...

Oh, and are you going to University?

Yes, by all means you can use my research. The only thing that I would request from you is that you give me credit for whatever portions you use. ;-)

I can't wait to see your muff!

And no, we are not making it to University. Sadly, it is a little bit out of the way and Bob does not have any more vacation time left.

And we will be attending Bright Hills Investiture, which is the same weekend. ;-)

Ah, well... Have fun. :)

We'll be at Ymir the next weekend. We're able to save on Hotel Costs since Dante's parents live in Raleigh.

I will definitely give credit where it is due! I was a bit too honest when writing term papers and had citations all over the place. Though, I think they never took off for that since I did manage to string it all together in a semi-intelligent way.

It's pretty, but a total fake-out. Fake Fur (the more expensive kind) with an Acetate brocade (I had it in the closet and wanted to try this out) along with three 'fake buttons' which are pretty antiqued gold beads that I picked up at Michael's last weekend. I'll be showing it off until the weather warms up significantly (or until I make a better one). I think I gave away the other two or three that I made last winter.

Re: Can I use your research on muffs?
No prob. And as long as you explain in your documentation why you are using the fake fur and acetate brocade, you'll be okay. For instance, cost and availability of real fur. Nice close-to period design on the acetate, etc. ;-)
