Heck, we were even able to catch an earlier flight in Chicago, allowing us to land in DC at 10:30 p.m. instead of midnight.
The bad news is, at around midnight I got horribly sick. It seems that either a) I picked up a stomach flu somewhere; b) the McDonald's burger that I ate at the airport was bad; c) my body is not used to that sort of food anymore; or d) all of the above.
The point is, I spent all day yesterday horribly sick and basically unable to leave my bed. My greatest achievement was to sit at the couch and watch a couple of episodes of "Flip This House," after which I had to go back to bed.
Today, I am feeling much better. I am still cautious about what I eat, as I still feel nauseaus, but at least I am functional. Which is a good thing. I don't like to spend the entire day in bed.
And now, ganked from just about everybody:
If you are a minority of one, the belfebe is the belfebe.
