Avast Matey!

As if making Sapphire Joust wasn't enough excitement for this Household, we ended up visiting Old Town on account of the good ship Godspeed visiting from Jamestown.

We first met at Thai Old Town and had lunch, and then we marched to the docks, where we stood in line, in the sun, among a throng of other sea-loving people who wanted to jump on the ship as well.

It was all worth it.

"So, are we the last ones onboard the ship?"

"It seems so, everyone else has left."

"And they left us alone in here?"

"It seems like it."

"They don't know us very well, do they?"

"Yeah, I think that if Greta calls the clouds in, Cat can make it rain, Delphina can touch their electronics and bust them with her mutant powers, while Seamus can touch the wood and liberate the ship."

"Yarrrr!!!! We are taking over!"

"Urrr...It seems that there's another group coming in."

"Damn. It's so hard to have a good time these days . . . "

At any rate, we did get our picture taken, after which we ended up having ice-cream down the street and then home.

The best part of this outing is that it is the first time in a long time that the entire FFG was all in one place, doing something together. No members missing other than the ones who do not currently live in the area.

Pennsic this year should be fun since, besides everyone being there (plus the Walrus), Magnus and Zada will be able to make it as well. We will only be missing Rois, but we do hope that one day we will have the entire gang together.

In the meantime, here is our picture aboard the Godspeed.
