Well, the good news is, I may be able to go to Pennsic for the entirety of War Week after all. Needless to say, I am very happy about it. I just hope nothing changes from now to then.

That also means that I really, really, need to get my arse in gear. It is already mid-May, and I still have a lot of stuff to do. And that is not counting the piles of laundry and organization around the house that are constantly being pushed to the elusive "another day," due to our weekends being endemically busy.

(You know that you're getting crispy at the edges when you are looking forward to doing laundry.)

(Oh, well.)

At any rate, fencing practice was a lot of fun last night. Like I said before, at this point I am basically concentrating on improving my movement, distance, bladework, etc., as opposed to worrying about winning or losing the bout. As a result, I feel more relaxed about my game and, hopefully, this will translate on an improved game.

We shall see.

But at least I feel that I have "homework" and areas of improvement, and that I am heading somewhere. And Marcellus and the gang have been a huge help by standing by the sidelines and pointing out the things that I need to correct.

I am a happy fighter.

But I am really looking forward to doing laundry.

I have reached the point in which my socks are threatening with running away with a caravan of gypsies and starting their own vaudeville act.
