Chris Straub Spring/Summer Collection 2011

Well, I have been having too much fun posting about Gretchen's feats on the runway and the red carpet. So why stop now?

This time, it is Christopher Straub's turn. If you remember, Chris was not only incredibly talented but also very likeable. I was sorry to see him go, and I am happy that he has put a collection out.

Here are some highlights from his current collection, along with the usual running commentary. And not because I like him it means that I will not point out what I like and what I don't.

However, one thing is for sure. Whether one likes his stuff or not, his garments do look well put together. Thank the deity of your choice for that...

Oh, and did I mention that he also designs handbags? Groovy.

The grey dress is nicely cut and very wearable. I am not fond of neutral colors, but I can see that it is well finished and very flattering. The handbag is right out of his accessory collection and it pairs nicely with the outfit.

The blue dress with the purple belt is not exactly my cup of tea. However, those petals are very much in trend and the fit and workmanship are excellent.

Dude. That's a muumu. Please make it go away. You know better than that.

Yes please. I want one of those. And the handbag is nice too.

You can see the entire collection here and here.

So what do you think my darlings? Thumbs up? Thumbs down? One of each? Thoughts?

I am definitely having too much fun with this.

Belfebe out.
