DWTS Tuesday Death Pool

Okay boys and girls, I had like three really amusing entries planned for today, but alas, work keeps eating my brains. I've spent my entire day putting out fires, and I am not done yet.

In the meantime, I leave you with the DWTS Tuesday Death Pool.

*Note: I am currently rooting for Maks and Erin. You have to. Nobody yells "Jump at me, woman! Now!" like Maks.

** And I still can't warm up to Nicole Scherzinger. Great dancer. But she needs to stop whinning.

Poll #1563050 Tuesday DWTS Death Pool

Who do you think is going home tonight?

Niecy Nash and Louis Van Amstel
Chad Ochocinco and Cheryl Burke
Evan Lysacek and Anna Tre-BUN-skaya
Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy
Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough

As usual, I'm commenting before I've watched the dancing.

Niecy always looks like she's doing the low-impact version of the fast/bouncy dances. I can think of tons of excuses for this, but whatever the reason, it isn't working for her. She's also not wowing with the elegance on the other dances.

You know? She's funny in a way, but I don't think that she's made that much progress. Part of the charm of DWTS is watching the contestants go from having two left feet to doing graceful pirouettes (or something like that). Not Niecy. I think that Louis has done wonders for her, but it may not be enough.

Sigh. If Pam had had Louis, maybe she would still be in the competition.

I agree that Niecy's dancing hasn't improved all that much.

I think you may be right about Pam and Louis. Is there a pro who would have been a better match for Niecy?

I don't think that anyone else could have done much more than Louis has done. He is the one that brought Kelly Osbourne out of her shell. Maybe Tony? Nah, if Louis couldn't make it, no one can.

I vote for brainz - with a little twist of lime ;-)

And you KNOW that the next time I see you, I'm going to yell, "Jump at me, WOMAN!" And I don't even watch DWTS ;-)

I REALLY dislike Maks. There is something that really reeks of "creep" about him, but I can't put my finger on it.

I don't think Niecy is a great dancer, but I really enjoy her. She is probably going home, but I'd rather see Ochocinco leave as I don't like him either.

I'm pulling for Evan Lysacek. He dances well (but still has to work at it). Nicole is a good dancer, but I haven't warmed up to her either.

Update: Sigh. Niecy is gone. I suspected that was going to happen, and that's why I predicted it. I was hoping for Ochocinco to bite the bullet, but no such luck. Honestly, he's rather boring, and I find his behavior towards Cheryl bordering on sexual harassment (although he has toned it down lately).

I love Evan. If Evan or Erin win, I will be happy. Maks is the "love him or hate him" kind. I think he's funny in a weird sort of way. But I can't stand Nicole, although Derek is indeed a genius. Why is it that he always gets the fit and talented partners? As a teacher, I think that Tony and Louis are much better. They have brought up people to par who would not have if they had been with someone like Derek. For one thing, I don't think that Derek would have been able to train Kelly Osbourne the way Louis did. Now, that's a trainer.

Yeah, I was afraid that it would be Niecy. She really showed what a class act she could be. Fifth ain't bad, particulalry for someone who was kicked out of dance class!

I think Louis is amazing. I was so impressed with how he trained Kelly.

That was me. Thought I was logged in!
