Sunday

Had a wonderful time at the National Gallery of Art with my sweetie. We went to see the exhibit "The Art of Power: Royal Armor and Portraits from Imperial Spain". If you live in the area and have not visited it, it's worth it. And it will be only on until November 1st, so you may want to hurry up.

Our most fun moment? When we decided to play a "Italian or German?" game, meaning guessing whether a piece of armor or a weapon was actually Italian or German in origin. And no peeking the plate next to it. It was loads of fun.

After that, we had a quick lunch at one of the Museum cafes, and then proceeded to visit the "In the Darkroom: Photographic Processes" exhibit. If you are into photography, it's really worth it. This exhibition chronicles the major technological developments in photographic processes from the origins of the medium until the advent of digital photography. Really fascinating.

Tired but happy, we went back home and then to the Baronial business meeting.

And that's all for now. I am afraid I may be coming down with something, but I am hoping I am not. I am going to curl up with a book and some tea, and call it a day.

PS. The boys were here yesterday to celebrate the Dark Child's birthday, as well as mine and ballistabob's. It was a lot of fun, and I enjoyed their company. It is good to be a family again.

We went Saturday and ran into Tash and Livia just outside the exhibit. Scott wants to do Spanish stuff now. ;)

I'm sorry you're feeling poorly and hope your back up to speed in no time.

Ohh, Spanish stuff is fun!

I'm sorry you're feeling poorly and hope your back up to speed in no time.

Thanks. My ear and throat were bothering me last night, but somehow they're not today. Fingers crossed that it stays that way :-)
