Youngest son is taking college classes again.

*Happy dance*

Hopefully, this time he'll stick with it. Yay!

In other news, I have finally uploaded the pics of Geoff getting his Pearl. The pics were actually taken by akgnome on account of me being up there with the rest of the Order and unable to operate a camera. Thanks Cat!

Today is the opening of the art exhibit and photography contest where I have submitted my first entry ever. I swung by yesterday, as they were hanging all the artwork for today's opening, and was amazed at the number of pieces of art for display, and the really cool entries for the competition. The actual competition was about the OAS Main Building, also known as the House of the Americas.

I am really proud of my picture, and I think that I have a good shot at winning. However, there is another one out there that is really, really cool, and I would not mind losing to that. Not that I intend to lose. (No, I am not competitive at all. Really. Heh.) But that other one is really, really awesome, and an entirely different style from mine. It rocks.

The competition comprises two categories: Natural photography, and manipulated photography. Mine belongs to the second. There are like a dozen entries in each category, which makes it much more exciting. It is awesome to see what different people did when presented with the same theme. Trés cool.

And of course, there is the general art exhibit, which contains not only photography but paintings and other media.

This will be a lot of fun.

And with that, I go back to the drawing board. Work is calling me back.

Belfebe out.
