Death-Neil Gaiman

Cackling . . .

Whew! This has been a very busy week, with very little time to post.

(Well, I did have time to burn stuff in the stove burner and cackle all the way while doing it, but that's another story.)

Between piling amounts of stuff at work, attempting to finish the drafting of documentation for KASF, trying to finish my entries of time, not to mention take over the world, I am all booked.

Oh, well. At least I made it last night to fencing practice.

Boy, am I out of shape! Two months of frantic travelling, getting sick and running around like a headless chicken, and cancelled practices because of holidays and weather, do take its toll.

I have to say, it wasn't as bad as I expected it to be. (Heck, I still remember the bit of "the pointy end goes into the other guy") It's just that after such a long time, I could not help feeling discombobulated.

The good news is, fencing is a very forgiving activity. You may feel out of it for a while, but once you get back into it, things start clicking.

Click away, baby! Click away!

At any rate, I do want to go home tonight and do my trial run for the recipe that I am entering at KASF. This way I can take it to the event and feed it to unsuspecting victims. If they make a face, that means that I need to work some more on it.

(The recipe, not the victim.)

(But I am not particular about it.)

On other news, I don't think that I will be able to finish my cloak for tomorrow. Even if I managed to put the lining and the outher cover together, it is a buckload of hemming to do.

Oh, well, I think I will get my simple wool wrap, and wear it under the Baronial Cloak.

That should do the trick.

And now, back to the drawing board.

See you tomorrow!
