Spring Cleaning -- Part I

Well, it seems that everyone is doing Spring cleaning today. I am no exception. With ballistabob gone for the weekend, I have been able to make a lot of progress -- although today I had to fight the temptation to go shopping with Greta_k. Sigh. I love shopping.

Anywhoo, I had been trying to do some serious weeding of stuff for quite a while. I have thrown out a bunch of ancient stuff that I honestly don't know why I was still keeping. Reorganizing is great. I have more space now.

No, I am not done, but I am getting there.

Yesterday, I also took the time to go with Wallace to the Mall. He was due for his yearly eye exam and, joy of joys, he finally got over his fear of contacts. They have been ordered, so we're in business.

I also got some shopping done, on things that were overdue like a new purse. My current one has seen better days and it was just time to get something decent. Hecht's was having a sale and I hit paydirt with a nifty black leather purse with all the sections I wanted, at 50% it's regular price. Yay!

In the evening, Greta_k, Pirategirleee and I went out to dinner to a nifty Greek restaurant in Old Town. Man, it was great! We particularly liked the flaming cheese appetizer, but in general the service was great and the food wonderful. Later on, we ended up at Greta's place, where we chatted our hearts off until almost midnight.

All in all, it was a lot of fun. We need to do this more often.
