Sadly, I am still swamped, so this will be a rather short post.
DWTS
Good gravy. Can someone please put Chloris Lechman out of her mysery? One thing is comedy, and another thing is whatever the heck she's doing. She's gone from funny, to weird, to just plain WTF????
I give the gal kudos for trying, but I think it's time to go. Regrettably, I don't think that she's going anywhere soon. At least not this week. Misty, my favorite dancer along with hot stuff Macks, is dropping out of the competition due to a torn Achilles heel. And although there have been rumors of bringing Kim Kardashian back, I think that they simply won't eliminate anyone this week.
What horrors will Chloris bring upon us next week?
I shudder to think . . .
Stay tuned.

The VP Debates
Sarah Palin got a B- on the entertainement factor. The Sarah and Katie Comedy Hour had already gotten the A+. But at least she didn't fall on her face, and provided an excellent excuse for people to play Palin Bingo and drinking games. It doesn't get any better than that.
The award for best smile goes to Joe Biden. He also gets an A for actually responding the questions and looking like a gentleman. We also learned that he likes to go to Home Depot. Does that make him your average Joe Six Pack too? And just which six pack are we talking about here? Beer? Diet Coke? Abs?
It boggles the mind.
Anywhoo, I think that the debate was quite entertaining. As whether it was effective or not to move voters, only the polls can tell. I believe that Sarah Palin did what she needed to do, which is to keep her followers energized. And a brilliant job she did. And those who are leaning towards Obama were charmed and impressed by Biden. However, it is the independents that count at this point, and we will have to see which one managed to get to them.
Guess we will have to wait till November 4 to find out.
As for me, I have already made my decision on how I am going to vote come November. And no, I didn't make my decision based on the debates. I took a lot of factors in consideration, and decided that I will vote Democrat after all.
Plus, I like my VP's with a clue, even if they can't play the flute to save their lives or see Russia from their homes.
And now, back to the drawing board.
