French Costuming

All I have to say is, perronelle is an awful, evil woman.

She pointed me to this fabric:




And then you have to look at this. Marguerite de Valois in all her splendor at the Valois Tapestries.




The price was definitely *not* G Street prices. Not cheap, but not the $50-$70 range. This one was definitely doable.

And the French costumer fainted with joy . . .

PS. It is 100% silk taffeta too. Or so they claim. We will find out.
