It seems that for the past couple of days I have become the trailer park to several drama tornados in every front, work included. This has kept me insanely busy, but I am happy to have achieved five minutes of blessed peace at the end of this day.
Oh, wonderful peace.
Let's see how long it lasts.
At any rate, Land Grab weekend went great. Despite of being short of hands this year, we managed to set up the entire Fallen From Grace encampment in record time. I guess that after all these years we have streamlined so much our setup that we can do it without much fuss.
Not having to do multiple trips to the store for last minute panic supplies helps too. (See streamlining above.)
Sadly, we were so exhausted that I did not take the yearly picture of the Land Grab Crew.
Oh, well. I'll take plenty of those during War Week and make up for it.
Having said that, we did have a lovely visit from melaniesuzanne, penguininarmor and psalite Saturday evening. Goodness gracious! I think that we were all so punch-drunk with fatigue, that we got really silly and laughed our heads off until past midnight.
It was loads of fun, and it sort of set up the Pennsic mood for the rest of the week.
So now we still have to pack the rest of our stuff, do laundry, finish projects, and get ballistabob's butt and mine back to Pennsic.
That will not happen till Saturday.
Are we ready now?
Of course not!
Not being ready for Pennsic is part of Pennsic lore.
It is also part of the fun, and I would not have it any other way.
