I did a lot of laundry yesterday.
Mounds and mounds of it.
It is amazing how much of the stuff can pile up when you are not spending enough time at home . . .
Pennsic prep continues. I have finished ballistabob's new blue doublet (with sleeves!), and he looks yummy.
I have been debating whether or not I have time to make another summer gathered kirtle for Pennsic or simply bring the pink one and the other stuff I already have, in order to start drafting my Fall wardrobe.
Decisions, decisions, decisions . . .
And while on that subject:
"Forgive me Father for I have serged. Yes, I admit to cutting a chemise for the upcoming War and serging the edges. I am also planning on machine-stitching it instead of hand-sewing it, but I do hope that the lack of time before War will be taken as an extenuating circumstance.
"As a penance, I am planning on watching endless reruns of 'A Knight's Tale' until I scream. Or at least until someone screams. I am not particular.
"I do hope that this will be sufficient to wash my sin.
"Your repentant daughter,
And now, back to the trenches.
