First of all, let me say that the US Soccer team rocks. After yesterday's performance, with 9 men on the field and a hostile referee, if anyone says that the US team sucks, I will tell them that they are on crack.

Go Team USA!

At any rate, we went to see Spamalot today. It is an awesome show and I strongly and enthusiastically recommend it to all. If you have a chance go see it. You won't regret it.

Me? I've got a baby-doll t-shirt with cows in it. French cows at that, which is strangely appropriate. (Fetche la vache!)

I have also been making progress on the brown doublet, and I am happy to announce that the only thing left to do is cut and set the epaulettes. I love this ensemble. The doublet fits beautifully and it is amazing how different a hand-stitched garment looks and fits from a machine-stitched one. The back of the neck still has a wrinkle, but I have read that this was also a problem in period. However, I will continue experimenting with the pattern to see how I can minimize it as much as I can in futher versions. Otherwise, I love it.

Finally, I have been working on the webpage, and I expect to upload the changes soon.

And that's it for the weekend.

Belphoebe out.
