Project Runway!

Today is Project Runway entry day.

Yay!

One of the things that I find most entertaining in reality competition shows is that at one point the question on who's going to get eliminated becomes much more fun than who actually won the competition. Perhaps it is because all beautiful garments are like happy families: they all resemble each other. However, disastrous garments are like unhappy families. They are all different and fascinating in their own way.

I think that the prize for the Most Godawful Monstrosity(TM) so far, has to go to Blayne's elimination suit from last week. Just check this little number out and tell me that it is not priceless.

The winner, by comparison, did not seem anywhere as amusing. Blayne's trainwreck will be hard to beat.

This week it was Joe's turn. In that regard, I am sad to report that his own monstrosity was not nearly as spectacular as Blayne's. On the other hand, it was one of the most boring things I've ever seen in the history of Project Runway. Thankfully, the suit seemed like it had been put together by blind drunken monkeys and that helped to keep the amusement factor. Check it out:

Although Joe has been one of my favorites during the season, I must say that after last week's disaster (it was even worse than this week's, but he was saved by the bell by Blayne's abomination), it was no surprise that he was dropped last night.

So just to keep the juices flowing, who do you think is the next one to go?

I have prepared a little survey, just because I can. Have fun.

He'll be gone. Possibly next week, if Kenley doesn't get on the judges nerves.

I thought suade's dress actually had potential. See if he would have put pants under it and maybe a little shrug it woudn't have been bad.

There were so many things wrong with Joe's outfit this week I didn't know where to start.
Suade suffered from distraction - too many ideas, not enough editing.

I agree. Joe's downfall was that his two latest creations were very poorly constructed and all over the place. Suede, on the other hand, can be hit or miss. His thing wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great either. And he listens to Tim, which is very important for his survival.

I loved Michael Kors' comment on Joe's outfit.

brahahaha!
Frankly I'm surprised he's lasted this long. He should have gone last week instead of Terry except that she doesn't play well with others.

That's why I think that Kenley may be next. She's a lot more talented than Suede, but I think she's getting the judges with her attitude.

I don't know - they put up with Christian trying to sell out a teenaged girl.

By the way, you're right. Blayne's outfit was like something from the harrowing of hell.

Gah!

Joe's -- ugh! It just looks sloppy in so many ways. What was he thinking?

Suede's outfit bothered me less than Korto's, but that may be my prejudice against green and that I feel that people with heavier legs genreally are not flattered by short skirts. I did like her jacket, though.
